Mahdi Performs Magic For Penélope Cruz On El Hormiguero

Mahdi was invited on El Hormigeuro (The Anthill) by Luis Piedrahita, the famous Spanish comedian and magician and Pablo Motos. Juan Diego Botto, Luis Tosar, and Penélope Cruz were invited to discuss their film, En Los Márgenes when they were suddenly introduced to Mahdi, one of the best magicians in the world. Mahdi sat them down for a performance of impossible, intimate, direct and powerful close-up card magic in this command performance where he was asked to perform one of his signature pieces, a tribute to René Lavand. Mahdi performed his rendition of Oil & Water (Agua y Aceite). Many people shared how touched they were by his performance and were amazed to see such strong magic on television.
